First District Congressional candidate Tracey Mann brought his campaign back to Emporia on Thursday morning during a meet-and-greet session at Village Inn restaurant.
The Mann campaign had been in town on Saturday, going door-to-door to about 700 homes to talk with residents about their issues in the upcoming primary election.
Mann is one of six Republicans seeking the nomination for First District Congressman to replace Jerry Moran, who is campaigning against Todd Tiahrt for the U.S. Senate seat now held by Sam Brownback, who is running for Kansas governor.
Candidates registered in the office of Kansas Secretary of State Chris Biggs are: Jim Barnett of Emporia, Sue Holloway Boldra of Hays, Marck Cobb of Galva, Tim Huelskamp of Fowler and Rob Wasinger of Cottonwood Falls.
