Does anyone not see a problem here?...we went out of town to buy new cars, instead of supporting our Chevy Dealership. Thats not right!

First, am not saying it is right BUT they could be going with the "lowest" bid, it wasn't stated, only who got the contract. Can'tJUDGE without full knowledge of what steps were taken BEFORE the purchase.

Saved over $5k driving 60 miles. Savings can be substantial. They laughed at me here till I showed them the same truck with more options and fewer miles $5k cheaper in Topeka. Then they wanted to make a deal.I laughed at them as I walked out the door.

Many years ago the County Commissioners purchased treated bridge from a Lumber Yard in Topeka refusing to buy them from one of 4 yards, at that time in Emporia. Two of us attended a Commission meeting and expressed our disatisfaction and we were told all they were doing was saving the county cost. Yeah, right the Topeka yard sure was paying taxes along with the rest of us. Needless to say it wasn't happening again.
