Lyon County Attorney Marc Goodman requested approval for two expenditures: one out of the drug forfeiture fund for an in-car computer and docking station for a sheriff’s deputy for up to $3,000; and equipment for the Americus Police Department for up to $6,000.
8:50 a.m.
Brian Anstey, of the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department asked for approval to replace a monitor that is in the Lyon County Jail’s booking area. The request monitor is a re-manufactured monitor that comes with the same warranty as a new one. The monitor is about half the price of a new monitor. The item was placed on Thursday’s consent agenda.
9 a.m.
Russell Torrens, Noxious Weed, asked for approval to attend the 2010 annual County Weed Director’s Conference in Great Bend. The conference is in March and registration is $195. He also asked for approval to send himself and another person to the 2010 annual Works Conference in March in Junction City at $149 each. The conferences will take care of required licensing hours. The items were placed on Thursday's consent agenda.

Commissioners briefly discussed the Home on the Ridge Plat that was approved in November 2009. They will discuss signage of the plat during Thursday's commission meeting.
