Emporia State got a big first half from its two senior point guards and ran away to a 96-78 win.
Cassondra Boston and Lacy Corker combined for 28 points in the first half, as the Lady Hornets rallied from an early deficit to take a 55-38 lead at half.
Boston finished with game-high 24 points, and Corker scored a season-high 18. Alli Volkens had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, and Brittney Miller nearly had a double-double with 17 points and eight rebounds.
