Addenda to the master contract and to school district policy, involving early retirements in both cases, are on the agenda for the Wednesday meeting of the Emporia board of education.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Mary Herbert Education Center.
The addendum to the master contract will affect certified staff in the district; the addendum to the policy will affect classified staff and administrators.
The board also will review recommendations from the Performance-Based Budgeting committee. The committee of approximately 80 educators, parents, and community representatives met several times in January to determine priorities for the district. The report will be used to help set the budget, as well as timing for improvements and other district purchases.
The board will meet in executive session to discuss a personnel matter.
The curriculum report for this meeting will be from instructional coaches at Timmerman Elementary School.
