The recycling trailer will be located on the south side of the Americus Elementary School on Wednesday and Feb. 17.
Breakfast
Biscuits, gravy and sausage are on the menu for the Americus Masonic Lodge breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Feb. 13. Juice and coffee will also be available. The breakfast will be held at the Masonic Lodge 109, 551 Broadway. For information, Mike Pearson (620) 443-5550.
Community challenge
Collecting box tops and Campbell Soup points for the Americus Elementary School is a challenge tossed out to everyone by the Americus Parent-Teacher Organization. Containers are placed at the school as well as City Hall.
Many different products and on-line shopping stores will contribute box tops. The on-line addresses are: boxtops4education.com or labelsforeducation.com. They will provide more details and a list of products.
The coordinator for this project is Lori Maxson.
