Season tickets for Emporia High School football and all-season athletic tickets are now on sale for the 2010-11 year. Tickets can be purchased at EHS during regular school hours and at Mary Herbert Education Center.
Football season tickets cost $20 for adults and $12.50 for children in eighth grade and below; all-season tickets cost $70 for adults and $35 for children.
The Emporia Public Schools also offers senior activity passes for admission to all district-sponsored events. The passes provide free admission to all athletic, music and drama events that are open to the public and charge an admission fee.
Season tickets and senior passes are good for all regular-season games. They cannot be used at post-season athletic events sponsored by the Kansas State High School Activities Association or events hosted by organizations outside the district.
The passes are free to any resident of USD 253 who is age 62 or older. The passes are good as long as the holder lives in the district and do not have to be renewed every year. They are available at Mary Herbert Education Center with proof of age and residency in the district. The office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday.
For more information, call MHEC at 341-2200.
