Lyon County commissioner Scott Briggs, who represents Lyon County First District, filed his Declaration of Intention for the office of county commissioner today.
Briggs was first elected for office in 2006.

He has my vote! I appreciate his down-to-earth attitude. Although he may not do everything perfect, he also doesn't have the know it all attitude like some people in government do and seems like he is always willing to listen and learn.
