Katrel Larkins now has a new appreciation for the guys in front of him.
On Saturday because of injuries, Emporia State defensive coordinator Ken Gordon decided to move Larkins from linebacker to defensive end. That move lasted for only a half.
“It wasn’t working out,” he said, “so me and Rosy switched because he was used to it.”
That would be Matt Rosenhamer, who played defensive end his freshman season and moved to linebacker last spring because he was undersized. But size is no longer a qualification to play defensive line for the Hornets.
