Friday Thoughts is a light-hearted commentary.
The Topeka Capital Journal reported this week that another KU football game was sold out. With the Hawks being undefeated this season and ranked 20th in the nation, tickets are obviously popular items.
According to the article, this is KU’s sixth straight capacity crowd and marks the 10th sellout in the last 12 games.
If you are disappointed that you can’t get Jayhawk tickets and you still want to catch a Division 1 game, you may be wondering what you can do. I did call the K-State box office. With the Wildcats only winning one game on the season, the ticket agent told me that K-State football tickets are “plentiful!”
If you go to the game and you are used to cheering for KU, you might try and modify your cheers to something like “Rock Chalk Jayhawk, Go Wildcats.”
