Community Connections is in full swing. The Sustainable Living Center has a variety of green classes available.
If you’re feeling creative there are a number of art classes ready for the taking. Planning to focus on your finances more? ESB is sponsoring a series of free classes to help you do just that. Come see us at FHTC and try something new.
Upcoming classes include:
• Green Remodeling with Bill Hanlon, Tuesday and Wednesday, 6 to 8:30 p.m.
• High Tunnel Workshop with Ted Carey and Dan Nagengast, Thursday, 5 to 9 p.m.
• Grass-Fed Beef Workshop with Jim Mayo, Oct. 3, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Advanced Jewelry with Jan Spade, Oct. 3 and 10, 1 to 5:30 p.m.
• MS Word 2007 Intermediate with Kim Dhority, Oct. 5 and 7, 6 to 9 p.m.
• Intro to Art Therapy with Kirk Chaussee, Tuesdays, Oct. 6 through Nov. 3, 7 to 9 p.m.
• Beginning Drawing for Adults with Charlotte Nickel, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 6 through 15, 7 to 8:30 p.m.
• Money Matters with Julie Cooper, Oct. 6, 6 to 8 p.m. (This is part of a free series sponsored by ESB Financial.)
• FICO Factor: Anatomy of Credit Building with Robert Baker and Aisha Rains, Oct. 7, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
• Beekeeping for Beginners with Glenn T. Fell, Oct. 8 and 9, 6 to 8:30 p.m.
• Build a Window Solar Collector with Gary Epley and Bill Hanlon, Oct. 8 and 9, 6 to 8:30 p.m.
