The Lyon County Commission will meet for a study session beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Lyon County Commission chambers of the Lyon County Courthouse, 430 Commercial St. Items on the agenda include:
- Jeff Cope of security will discuss handicap accessibility.
- Ruth Wheeler, District Court administrator, will discuss the capital outlay spending request made by the court.
- Chip Woods, county engineer, will review reports and other correspondence.
- Robert Sullivan, community corrections, will consider authorizing the director of community corrections to pay for the Third Annual District Challenge.
- At 10 a.m., a public meeting will be held for discussion centering around the formation of an extension district between Lyon and Chase Counties.
- Russel Torrens, Noxious Weed Department, will update commissioners on the city-wide clean up of hazardous waste.
