The Sept. 12 meeting was called to order by Linden Stueve. The flag salute and 4-H pledge were led by Caroline Murray. Roll call, “When is your birthday?,” was answered by 25 members, 12 adults and three leaders.
Mark Windle was awarded a $250 scholarship by the club for completing his record book each year he was in 4-H.
Diana Windle announced there would be a KAP workshop in Shawnee County; those interested are to call the extension office. Marilyn Stueve announced that there are more fair photos available and the Achievement Banquet will be at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Anderson Building. Each family will bring a meat and two side dishes. The club will set up for the banquet the evening before, beginning at 6 p.m. Brian Creager announced that any members interested in helping judge other counties’ record books are to call the extension office for details.
Club Leader Marilyn Stueve presided over the election of officers, who are: Linden Stueve and Leslie Creager, co-presidents; Mindy Woods and Tyson Pettijohn, co-vice presidents; Emily Samuels, secretary; Jacob Schwindt, treasurer; Natalie Kuhlmann, reporter and historian; Brandon Baumgardner, parliamentarian; Brock Davis and Jack Creager, song leaders; Ricky Murray and Brady Baumgardner, recreation leaders; and Teen Council representatives: Mindy Wood, Emily Samuels and Leslie Creager. Junior officers are Chloe Creager, president; Haley Wecker, vice president; Hanna Wecker, secretary; and Kaylie Coble, treasurer.
The next club meeting will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 12. It was decided to have 4-H Sunday at 9 a.m. Oct. 18 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Refreshments will be served. The meeting was adjourned.
