EMS goes 1-2 in Lawrence

Emporia Middle School’s eighth-grade volleyball team went 1-2 on Saturday during a trip to Central Middle School in Lawrence.

The Vikings lost to Lawrence Southwest 5-25, 16-25 and to Washburn Rural 18-25, 16-25. They closed their day with a victory, beating Lawrence South 25-16, 25-21.
