EHS boys, girls both finish 22nd at Missouri Southern Stampede

Jenna Stanbrough and Tyler Tilton both turned in impressive performances for the Emporia High cross country team on Saturday at the 54-team Missouri Southern Stampede in Joplin, Mo.

Stanbrough finished 16th in the only 5K of the girls’ season, and she outran five runners who had beaten her the week before at the Emporia Invite. Tyler Tilton led the boys with a 22nd-place finish.
