New Strawn
The Coffey County Republican reported that a committee will develop a plan to move New Strawn City Hall to the city-owned school building in New Strawn. Allen Community College Health Care Academy occupied the school building until June 30. The New Strawn City Council decided to assign the task to the finance and economic development committee during a recent meeting. The city council is considering using the two southeast rooms for city offices, possibly using the northeast classroom for the post office with lobby access from the east drive.
