EHS finishes 6th at Derby

The Emporia High tennis team finished tied for sixth out of eight teams at a meet on Thursday in Derby.

Chloe Blake finished in fifth place at No. 2 singles, winning two of four matches, and Danielle Anliker/Natalie Juarez did the same at No. 2 doubles. Nancy Delgado finished in seventh place at No. 1 singles, and Kaitlin Gile/Brooke Gutierrez finished in sixth at No. 1 doubles. The Spartans host a home meet Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
