Tim Hickok, a Chase County rancher, will discuss prairie flora and fauna and the pursuit of prairie chickens with trained raptors at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pioneer Bluffs, a mile north of Matfield Green.
Hickok and his hunting partner, Zero, a peregrine falcon, appeared with David Letterman and Jack Hanna on the “Late Show with David Letterman” in May 2008. Hickok will bring one of his falcons to Pioneer Bluffs. Prairie Talk is a series of free community discussions sponsored by the Pioneer Bluffs Foundation.
