And, of course, there is the Renaissance Festival. Not quite as local, but it's what I'm going to be doing.

Don't forget about Jim Bob's annual Paint-Dryin' and Grass-Growin' Watch-A-Thon Extravaganza! This Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!
This year, Jim Bob plans to paint a section of fence yellow! The contrast between the growing green grass and the drying yellow paint will truly be a sight to behold! Certain to be an intriguing, artistic tribute to Jim Bob’s favorite tractor; John Deere! Fun for the whole family! Free straw hats for the kids! Come on down for hours of entertainment! Feast your eyes on the glorious yellow fence and witness the miracle of life as the grass grows right before you! This year’s music will be a cassette tape of The Statler Brothers Greatest Hits playing continuously in loop! Only this Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!

Oh yeah, there is also the 5th Annual Cow Patty Chuck 'n' Duck Contest.
Not for the faint of heart. This is a fierce competition similar to dodge ball. Bring friends who are light on their feet, have a good throwing arm, and don't mind taking a flying cow pie upside the dome.
Come by to watch the exciting tournament style play or enter your team for a chance to win the grand prize! The tournament winners will take home a life-sized model of "Betsy the hoop-jumping dairy cow"! Do you have what it takes to be a champion? Find out at this year’s Cow Patty Chuck 'n' Duck Contest!
