Supporting Mariah

Walburns Athletic Club held Mariah Mania a fundraiser for Mariah Serrano. If you would like to purchase a shirt to support Mariah, call Walburns at 620-343-6034.

The Mariah Mania event sponsored by Walburn’s Fitness & Wellness raised nearly $6,000 for the family of Mariah Serrano, who has been hospitalized since late May because of injuries from a motor vehicle accident.

“We had over 300 people come in wanting to participate in the cut-a-thon, lift-a-thon, take our day classes, buy T-shirts or make a donation,” said Frannie Walburn.

The event took in $3,743, then Walburn’s donated the cost of the T-shirt, another $1,500, bringing the total to $5,743.
