It’s apples, apples and more apples at Hetlinger Developmental Services, 707 S. Commercial St. and the organization is celebrating this year with the Third Annual Apple Fest.
The Apple Fest will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Hetlinger. Apples will be for sale at the festival. A peck is $8; half bushel, $12; bushel $20. Those wanting to buy apples may pick out their own apples if desired.
In addition to selling apples, Hetlinger will offer carnival games, prizes and a moonwalk for the kids. Applewood also will be for sale as well as apple slushies.
The Hetlinger Country Store has been expanded this year this year to offer stuff that is made by the consumers. This includes signs for people’s houses and greeting cards for nearly every occasion.
The event is free to get in. Tickets for the carnival games and moonwalk will be for sale the day of the event.
