Emporia Schools
BREAKFAST
Monday: Pancake on a stick or cereal and graham cookies.
Tuesday: Little smokies and Texas toast/jelly or cereal and graham cookies.
Wednesday: Blueberry bagel/jelly or cereal and graham cookies.
Thursday: Burrito or cereal and graham cookies.
Friday: Frosted long john and mozzarella cheese stick or cereal and graham cookies.
LUNCH
Monday: Cheesburger/bun, sweet potato fries, tossed salad, mandarin oranges, Rice Krispy treat.
Tuesday: Bosco Stocks, marinara sauce, garden peas, baby carrots/dip, tropical fruit.
Wednesday: BBQ ribette/bun, tri tater, brocolli/cheese, cherry crisp.
Thursday: Chicken nuggets, wheat dinner roll, cheesy potato, corn, strawberry/banana cup.
Friday: Turkey sandwich, chips, baby carrots/dip, fresh apple, cookie.
Friendship Meals
EMPORIA
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Ham, mashed potatoes, Scandinavian blend, bread, peaches.
Tuesday: Beef stew, cottage cheese, cornbread, fruit cobbler.
Wednesday: Baked chicken, parslied potatoes, carrots, wheat roll, cake/ice cream.
Thursday: Chicken alfredo, noodles, escalloped tomatoes, garlic bread, melon cup.
Friday: Chef salad, wheat roll, fruit cocktail, sherbet.
NORTH LYON COUNTY
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414.
Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Meatballs/gravy, scalloped potatoes, Scandinavian blend, wheat bread, fruit cocktail.
Tuesday: Chef salad, bread sticks, peaches, sherbet.
Wednesday: Oven fried chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, bread, banana.
Thursday: Honey glazed pork chop, AuGratin potatoes, peas/carrots, bread, melon cup.
Friday: Beef stew/vegetables, cornbread, fruit cobbler.
