ralpheatsbeef: Burlington is no longer one of the schools in our sports coverage area and hasn't been since, I believe, the 2006-07 school year. Our trend in recent years has been to make our coverage area more intensely local. For this year, our area schools are EHS, Northern Heights, Hartford, Lebo, Olpe, Madison and Chase County. We do reexamine our coverage area every year, and if we sense a need to re-add Burlington or other schools in future years, we will. Input from readers is a strong factor in deciding which schools we cover each year.
tzkmom: Trevor Kuhens' win in the seventh-grade race was included in today's Briefly.

Joey, Thank you for the CC reports. These kids work hard to participate in their sport and deserve the recognition and coverage given to the higher attendence-more popular sporting events.

It would be nice if you would include all schools in both the Lyon County League and Flint Hills League since they both are part of your coverage area
