Elected officials paid much less than staff

Q Now that we know the salary ranges for all city employees, how much do the city commissioners get paid?

A According to city records, city commissioners each are paid $500 per month.

Anyone that wanted to serve on the commission for the pay, would be to stupid to represent me.

The reason for serving is to serve the town and all of it's citizens. To Give back, so to speak.

While I don't agree with several issues the commission has decided lately, I still wouldn't want their jobs.
