Linda Adams-Wendling, Ph.D, ARNP, GNP, CNE, CNAA-BC was awarded the Kansas State Nurses Association Nurse of the Year Award in Research at the KSNA annual convention in October at Wichita.
Adams-Wendling is an associate professor of nursing at Emporia State University and also the president of Mid-West Clinical Consultants.
This past summer, Adams-Wendling was chosen as a John A. Hartford Geriatric Nursing Research Scholar at New York University, which recognizes her as a nurse researcher in geriatric nursing. The KSNA Nurse of the Year Award and John A. Hartford Geriatric Nursing Research Scholar Award is presented to nurses who demonstrate excellence in research capabilities and establishing relevance of research to the nursing profession.
