The Emporia High School debate team wants to offer sincere thanks to all of the volunteers that served as judges at our tournament on Sept. 25 and 26.
Over 100 people from throughout the community gave time and talent to help with this educational endeavor. We received many compliments from competitors and coaches across the state regarding the quality of the experience the students received.
We also want to extend our deep gratitude to the following businesses for their incredible generosity in donating food to our hospitality lounge: The Wagon Wheel, Wendy’s, Wheat State Pizza, Hardee’s, Taco Bell, Golden Corral, KFC, Montana Mike’s, Papa John’s, Subway, Applebee’s, Bobby D’s, Burger King and Carlos O’Kelly’s. The coaches and volunteers truly enjoyed your kindness.
