Lawn care season may be winding down, but it won’t be over until its essential equipment has been prepared for winter storage.
“Now’s the time,” said Brad Riggs, service technician at PrairieLand Partners. “Lawn care equipment is one of the easiest things to take for granted. We oftentimes forget about it in the off-season, then get frustrated when it won’t start next spring when we roll it out to mow again.”
Riggs presented ongoing instruction throughout the early morning at the Farmers Market on Saturday. He had an assortment of mower parts to demonstrate what needs to be taken care of mechanically before putting away lawn equipment for the winter.

You mean I have to actually buy a paper to learn how to winterize my mower? That's way too much work...I'll just buy a new mower next year. The one I have now is all dusty anyway...
