Bank rating
Joseph J. Wendling, CEO of the Olpe State Bank at Olpe recently accepted a 5-Star Superior rating from BauerFinancial of Coral Gables, Fla. A 5-star rating for financial strength and stability is the highest rating attainable from BauerFinancial (the nation’s bank rating firm for more than a quarter of a century) and is based on the overall financial condition of the bank.
Earning a 5-Star rating denotes that the Olpe State Bank is one of the strongest banks in the nation, stated the news release. Achieving this designation for 81 consecutive quarters, like the Olpe State Bank has, is an even higher honor. Only 4 percent of the nation’s banks have earned this Superior 5-Star rating 81 consecutive times.
