Hartford’s junior varsity cross country team claimed the second, third and fourth spots in the girls run in Thursday’s Burlington Invitational.
Cheyenne Veatch ran second for the Jaguars with a time of 19:09. Right behind her in third was Callie Clark, who clocked a 19:14, and Missy Lasswell finished fourth with a time of 19:44.
In the JV boys run, Kevin Veatch represented Hartford with a sixth-place finish, clocking a 16:54. Trevor Kuhens of Neosho Rapids Junior High finished second in the seventh-grade boys run.
