On Thursday, October 15, Pizza Hut (2920 W. 18th Street) will donate 20% of a customer’s receipt to the United Way of the Flint Hills Campaign. Customers must present the United Way coupon in order for a portion of their ticket to go to the United Way. The coupon is good on dine in, carry out, and delivery. This is the second fundraising night hosted by Pizza Hut in support of the United Way. To get a copy of the coupon visit the United Way of the Flinthills website at http://www.uwfh.org
“We are grateful to Pizza Hut for hosting a second fundraising event for us,” said Jami Reever, executive director of the United Way. “Taking part in restaurant days is a great way for Emporia residents to support both the United Way and area restaurants at the same time – it’s a win-win situation for everyone.”
The next United Way Restaurant Day is schedule for Thursday, October 22, at Planet Sub, who will donate 25% of their receipts from the entire day to the United Way.
