The Lyon County Republican Women meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Lyon County extension office, 2632 W. Highway 50. State representative Peggy Mast will talk about her recent trip to Washington, D.C., and how it will affect Kansas. Members continue to collect food for the Salvation Army food pantry, as well as items for troop boxes. Those who know of any Lyon County service personnel who are presently deployed are asked to call 342-7073. Guests are welcome to attend the meeting.
