EMS sets personal bests

The Emporia Middle School cross country team had 13 of its 14 runners set personal records at the Seaman Invitational on Saturday.

Spartans who finished in the top 20 included Meg Detwiler in third place, Hayleigh Psota in 13th and Breanna Granado in 15th. The seventh-grade girls finished fourth out of six teams and finished seven points out of third.
