The David Traylor Zoo was awash in grade school students Thursday and Friday for the zoo’s annual Safari Edventure.
The event, geared toward students from first to fourth grade, features a number of stations set up by volunteers that let the kids take part in activities to help them learn about a variety of topics.
“We invite community members to do their own workshops, and the classes can go from workshop to workshop and learn about whatever it is the presenters are doing,” said Angela Anderson, outreach coordinator for the zoo.
