The Cloverleaf 4-H November meeting was held Nov. 23, with president Lane Fuller presiding. Sarah Megredy, parliamentarian, explained the purpose of an organization’s constitution and by-laws. The Christmas committee reported that club members would ring bells for the Salvation Army on Dec. 5 at Dillons. Members should call the committee if they have not registered to participate. Members of the pizza party committee announced that a party would be held over Christmas break.
In old business, the club voted to repaint the 4-H sign located on Burlingame Road. A committee was assigned to research costs.
In new business, the club approved changes to the 4-H camp scholarship application. Alisha Henery talked about showing her dog. Katherine and Eric MacGregor explained how they manage their broiler chicken projects.
There are many events and deadlines happening in December and January. Members should watch for more information. The next meeting will be the Christmas ornament exchange at the school house on a Sunday in December, with the time and date to be announced.
