Monday: Pancake minis.
Tuesday: Breakfast pizza.
Wednesday: Hillbilly danish.
Thursday: Sausage biscuit, jelly.
Friday: yogurt and muffin.
Breakfasts are served with juice and milk. Cereal and graham cookies are available each day as breakfast alternatives.
LUNCH
Monday: Corndog, tater tots, broccoli/cheese, fresh apple wedges, caramel dip.
Tuesday: Chicken strips, wheat dinner roll, cheesy potatoes, green beans, orange smiles.
Wednesday: Beef taco, soft tortilla, Mexican rice, tossed salad, pineapple tidbits.
Thursday: Grilled cheese, baby carrots w/dip, tropical fruit, pumpkin bar.
Friday: Spaghetti, garlic French bread, garden salad, diced peaches.
Lunches are served with milk.
Friendship Meals
EMPORIA
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Cook’s choice.
Tuesday: Roast beef, boiled potatoes, brown gravy, green beans, pears, bread.
Wednesday: tuna-noodle casserole, carrots, bread, cinnamon apples.
Thursday: Chicken meatloaf, broccoli rice au gratin, roll, harvest cake DX.
Friday: chuckwagon steak, hashbrown casserole, peas, bread, chocolate mousse.
Two percent milk is served with each meal.
NORTH LYON COUNTY
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414.
Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Chicken & noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, hot roll, peaches.
Tuesday: Country-fried steak, potatoes, gravy, peas, bread, five-cup salad.
Wednesday: Baked fish, au gratin potatoes, beets, bread, fruit cup.
Thursday: Roast beef, potatoes, gravy, carrots, pear slices.
Friday: Baked chicken, baked potatoes, spinach, bread, fruited gelatin.
