Olpe High School’s Student Council will sponsor another “Light the Night” fundraiser for Donna Sleezer, an Olpe resident who is undergoing cancer treatment.
The event will run from Nov. 30 to Dec. 14, and will feature a Christmas tree covered with colored bulbs and placed in front of OHS.
“A $5 donation will change a bulb to white,” said Rebecca Fawcett, OHS Stuco co-sponsor. “The goal is to change all of the colored lights to white.”
People who want to donate to “light the night” for Sleezer may do so at Murphy Oil, The Chicken House, and Olpe State Bank.
Checks made out to Donna Sleezer Fund may be sent to: OHS Student Council, PO Box 206, Olpe KS 66865.
