Inspect prescriptions

Due to some very frightening recent events we would like to remind everyone to carefully inspect every prescription that they or a loved one takes. Take a moment and make sure that it is the correct size, color, shape and dosage. Make sure that you also check the numbers and name of the drug on the surface of the pills.

You can also go to www.drugs.com and use their identifier tool, which allows you to input the description of the pill, and the numbers on it. It will then tell you what it is and who manufactures it. Very useful when getting my prescriptions refilled and the pills changed color, just to make sure they hadn't mixed up my prescription with someone elses!

I agree!! My mother was given the wrong dose twice in a two week period, same drug, separate prescriptions, two weeks apart at the same pharmacy in Emporia. This was a life threatening overdose that a pharmacy tech made twice. She changed pharmacies.
