The 13th annual Holiday Remembrance Program will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home, 201 Cherry, in Cottonwood Falls.
Susan Alexander said in her news release, “This is a time to remember those people who have died recently or many years ago. The holidays will never be the same without your loved one. Traditions may need to be modified.” The program will conclude with a candle-lighting service and refreshments.
Participants are welcome to bring an ornament to hang on the Memory Tree. This ornament may represent talents, hobbies, occupations or whatever “holds a special place in your heart,” said Alexander.
She asks that particpants put the name of the deceased on the ornament. For more information, call Susan Alexander at (620) 273-6311.
