Breakfasts are served with juice and milk. Cereal and graham cookies are available each day as breakfast alternatives.
LUNCH
Monday: Burrito, nacho chips, cheese sauce, tossed salad, fresh fruit choice.
Tuesday: Turkey fritter, wheat dinner roll, mashed potatoes/gravy, corn, fruit cup, pumpkin cookie.
Wednesday: No school.
Thursday: No school.
Friday: No school.
Lunches are served with milk.
Friendship Meals
EMPORIA
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Salisbury steak, potatoes/gravy, lima beans, bread, cookie.
Tuesday: Chicken and dumplings, peas and carrots, wheat roll, peaches.
Wednesday: Roast turkey, candied sweet potatoes, green beans, wheat roll, cranberry sauce, pumpkin delight.
Thursday: Closed for Thanksgiving.
Friday: Closed for Thanksgiving.
Two percent milk is served with each meal.
NORTH LYON COUNTY
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414.
Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Ham and beans, cornbread, strawberries, cookie.
Tuesday: Taco salad, hamburger, beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese, tortilla chips/salsa, apples.
Wednesday: Biscuits, sausage gravy, tater triangles, orange juice, fruit.
Thursday: Closed for Thanksgiving.
Friday: Closed for Thanksgiving.
