CHASE COUNTY — It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas in Chase County and festivities are right around the corner.
The Chase County Christmas begins Nov. 27 — the day after Thanksgiving — in Strong City. The event, Strong City Express, begins at 7 p.m. and focuses on children.
“Every child will receive a surprise with an additional special something for those who come in their pajamas,” a press release stated. “The conductor will lead the Lighting the Caboose countdown followed by the drawing for the Fantastic Treasure of Toys.”
No purchase is necessary for drawings, but prize winners must be present to win.
Chase County Christmas continues into Nov. 28 with a day packed full of activities. The Twin Cities Lion’s Club will have a biscuit and gravy breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Emma Chase Cafe in downtown Cottonwood Falls.
