Phone charge
Tuesday, November 17, 2009
Attorney General Steve Six has issued a warning to consumers about possible unauthorized charges that may appear on their monthly telephone bills.
“These charges are often listed as ‘enhanced services’ and are billed on behalf of another entity that specializes in voice mail and/or email services,” public information officer Ashley Anstaett said in a news release.
Six asked that anyone who had been billed for a similar unauthorized charge to contact the AG’s Consumer Protection Division at (800) 432-2310.
