Free assistance and help in comparing Medicare prescription drug insurance plans for 2010 is available from the Lyon County Department on Aging during the Nov. 15 to Dec. 30 enrollment period. To compare plans, call the Lyon County Department on Aging for appointments at 342-6119 or go to the office at 402 Commercial St. in the Lyon County Annex. Information to bring for personalized comparisons include: Medicare card, label or bottle of each medication the person is taking and any correspondence from Medicare or SRS regarding assistance programs.
