A craft festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in Burlington at the Burlington High School and Middle School. There also will be open houses offered by businesses downtown.

There will be 150 booths of arts and crafts at the high school, where items will be handmade, homegrown or homemade, stated the news release. At the middle school, there will be a Craft and Gift Annex with 100 booths of arts and crafts, along with commercial items from home-based businesses.

According to the news release, this will be “one of the largest craft festivals in the area.”

Other debaters whose points contributed to the strong finish were Morgan Nail, Jordan Kiser, Mercedes Bounthapanya, Clarissa Negrete, Will Kraft, Samantha Richey, Alexia Ellis, and Meegan Dorcase.

EHS juniors Oscar Lara and Juan Rios took sixth place at the Wichita Trinity Academy Invitational debate tournament.  Freshmen Jordan Kiser and Morgan Nail finished fourth at the Shawnee Heights tournament.
