The Emporia Middle School wrestling team earned third place out of 16 schools at a tournament in Silver Lake on Saturday, and the Vikings had eight first-place medalists.
Vikings who went undefeated and earned first-place honors included Taylor Jackson at 105 pounds, Hunter Wing and Nollan Kirmer at 110, Tucker Lee and Braxton Marstall at 115, Timothy Greathouse at 127, Israel Alcay at 134 and Daha Evans at 148.
