Emporia Schools
BREAKFAST
Monday: Pancake minis.
Tuesday: Yogurt and muffin.
Wednesday: Hilbilly danish.
Thursday: Pizza.
Friday: Sausage biscuit/jelly.
Breakfasts are served with juice and milk. Cereal and graham cookies are available each day as breakfast alternatives.
LUNCH
Monday: Hot ham/cheese/bun, tater tots, fresh brocolli/dip, fresh grapes, chocolate pudding.
Tuesday: Chicken parmesan, cheesy potatoes, garlic biscuit, green beans, orange smiles.
Wednesday: Crispitos, nacho chips, cheese sauce, Mexican salsa, applesauce, oatmeal cookie.
Thursday: Country steak, wheat dinner roll, mashed potatoes/gravy, corn, diced peaches.
Friday: Pizza, tossed salad, banana, bosco apple stick.
Lunches are served with milk.
Friendship Meals
EMPORIA
Friendship meals are served at noon at the Emporia Senior Center, 603 E. 12th Ave.
Reservations should be made one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 343-3160, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
For home delivery, call 340-8001.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Hamburger steak, oven browned potatoes, green beans, bread, pudding mix.
Tuesday: Chicken fried chicken, potatoes/gravy, corn, wheat roll.
Wednesday: Pork roast/gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, bread.
Thursday: Spaghetti/meat sauce, Italian blend veggies, garlic bread, fruit crisp.
Friday: Pork patty, hash browns, stewed tomatoes, biscuit, fruit.
Two percent milk is served with each meal.
NORTH LYON COUNTY
Friendship meals are served at noon at: the Americus Senior Center, 516 Locust St., (620) 443-5352 and the North Lyon County Senior Center at Allen, (620) 528-3414.
Reading residents who want meals can call the North Lyon County Senior Center.
Reservations should be made by phone one day in advance.
These meals will be served next week:
Monday: Hamburger steak, baked potato, Italian blend, bread, peaches.
Tuesday: Ham, AuGratin potatoes, corn, hot roll, fruit crisp.
Wednesday: Lemon baked chicken, noodles romanoff, carrots, bread, pineapple chunks.
Thursday: Sloppy Joe/bun, potato chips, coleslaw, pear cheese salad.
Friday: Turkey/dressing, potatoes/gravy, seasoned green beans, hot rolls, cranberry delight, pumpkin crunch.
