Emporia High’s volleyball team had four players honored in All-Centennial League selections, headlined by Lauren Longbine’s selection to the all-league first team.
Longbine, a junior middle blocker/outside hitter, led the Spartans for the season in kills with 225, in solo blocks with 56 and assist blocks with 103. Earning a spot on the all-league second team was junior outside hitter Sarah Kolmer. Kolmer had 157 kills, second on the Spartans, and 154 digs, which ranked third. Last year as a sophomore, she earned all-league honorable mention.
