Emporia State guard Robert Moores has had some long days this week as he starts rehab for the stress fracture in his right leg that has kept him off the court since mid-August.
Moores had an X-ray on Nov. 3 which showed some improvement, and his doctor gave him the go-ahead to start rehabbing on Sunday.
First, Moores goes to practice, mostly as a spectator, and works occasionally on his jump shot. After practice, Moores has been jogging at Welch Stadium on the football field turf, which reduces the pressure on his leg.
