Soldiers’ care packages
Tuesday, November 10, 2009
A drop-off for donations to a care-package drive for soldiers will be set up at the Town Royal, 405 Commercial St., before and during the Veterans Day parade on Wednesday.
Owners Linda and Steve Corbin will donate 25 percent of all sales at the Town Royal on Wednesday to the drive.
Games, batteries, books, CDs, DVDs, electronics, iPods, non-perishable foods and seasonings, and other similar items are being sought to include in the packages, which will be shipped to area soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Bring the kids by and get them a free American Flag to wave,
while 500 last. We'll be outside enjoying this weather.
