The Emporia Arts Council reached a milestone Monday morning with the official groundbreaking at the location of the new arts center.
Making sure to thank all those involved, from the council’s board of directors to the donors who made the project possible, executive director Melissa Windsor could barely contain her excitement at the progress of the council’s quest for an up-to-date center in the heart of downtown Emporia.
