Hornet cross country team finish in top 10 at Regionals

Both the Emporia State men’s and women’s cross country teams placed in the top 10 of the team standings at the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championships in Abilene, Texas on Saturday.
The Hornet men were seventh and the women placed 10th.
Will Hohmeier paced the men with a 22nd-place finish over the 10K course. Skyler Delmott was ESU’s second runner in 30th place. As a team, the ESU men were just seven points out of fifth place.
Katie Mona led the women, placing 22nd in the 6K event. Kathryn Davison was the second runner for ESU, finishing in 48th place.
